Vision: 

New Wine Christian Center’s KIDZ CENTRAL is a ministry led by the Holy Spirit whereby every teacher is an anointed minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our Teaching Team is dedicated to sharing a faith in Jesus that is living and vibrant, helping kids cling to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for a lifetime!  Our goal at KIDZ CENTRAL is to reach each child with a powerful Gospel message that they can relate to, experience, and apply to their lives.  Together, teachers and children are learning how to make Jesus known to the world around them.   KIDZ CENTRAL strives to be a loving support to the family unit and a spiritual extension of the home.

Kidz Central Classes are offered in the following age brackets during our regular Sunday service:

We welcome you and your child to KIDZ CENTRAL at New Wine Christian Center!  Our Teaching Team is dedicated to making your child feel comfortable, secure and loved.  Every Sunday we offer dynamic, interactive Bible lessons that your child can relate to and apply to their lives.  We welcome your questions and suggestions.  Always feel free to talk to your child’s teacher or email the Children’s Pastor at KidzCentral@NewWineChristianCenter.org.  

Our Teaching Philosophy

How can teachers genuinely help children of all ages know, love, and follow Jesus?  We teach just like Jesus taught.  We start with the Word of God and use creative objects and activities, to help children to experience God’s Word and apply it immediately to their lives.  We use the R.E.A.L. system of teaching at KIDZ CENTRAL to accomplish our teaching goals and teach as Christ did.

Relational: We encourage our students to interact with each other, which makes learning more effective and helps build friendships with others and Jesus.  We often utilize “pair shares” (one-on-one discussion time) and small groups to create an atmosphere of intimacy.  Our children of all ages are taught to pray for one another.

Experiential: We facilitate an atmosphere where our children actually experience the lessons being taught.  Biblical principles will stick with a child up to nine times longer when they can experience the teaching through the use of object lessons, drama and crafts.

Applicable: We aim to incorporate powerful life application to the lessons.  We desire that our students be able to apply the lessons to their own life immediately. We utilize weekly challenges where the children live out what they have been taught with others.  It’s powerful to share our faith with the world around us!

Learner-Based: We realize that children learn in different ways, so we provide a variety of methods to draw children closer to Jesus.  We call this multi-sensory teaching.  We provide a variety of activities during one class time such as crafts, music, games, worship, journaling, quiet reflection, drama, pair-shares, and even fun food in order to reach each student and their specific learning style.
